Service Members


BreakTurn exists to assist Service Members in their transition from the military into civilian aviation. We do this primarily through the DoD SkillBridge Program and Army Career Skills Program.

As a 3rd-party DoD SkillBridge provider, BreakTurn can host you on a SkillBridge with any of our partner companies. We are continuously adding partners from a wide spectrum of companies to provide opportunities in many different avenues in civilian aviation.

Fill out the intake form to provide crucial information for personalized assistance. The more information you provide, the better prepared our team will be to help with your future SkillBridge placement. Check your inbox for a confirmation email containing next steps.

2. Explore The BreakTurn Academy

You now have access to The Academy—a virtual hub designed specifically to assist your SkillBridge journey and support you throughout your entire aviation career. Login to find tailored career tools and resources. Plus, browse 1,100+ scholarships, find flight schools, and access exclusive discounts on essential aviation gear.

3. Browse SkillBridge Opportunities

Browse BreakTurn’s network of approved SkillBridge partners to find a good fit for your aviation journey. If you’re unsure or need additional support, work with a counselor to review available opportunities and determine which option fits your goals. From there, our Operations team will guide you through the paperwork to secure your placement.

4. Finalize Your SkillBridge

Once an opportunity is finalized with a partner, our operations team will provide you with the required paperwork for your branch of service.

Submit paperwork for approval through your Chain-of-Command, and provide us a copy of your approval upon receipt to commence your SkillBridge.
