About Us

BreakTurn was founded in 2022 by a group of veterans who wanted to help other veterans have an easier transition to the civil aviation industry. While the various military transition programs have come a long way they simply lack the expertise to counsel and mentor those seeking employment in the aviation industry.

The SkillBridge program in particular was being underutilized. BreakTurn was purpose-built to provide formal counseling and aviation SkillBridge opportunities. We now have a group of counselors to provide the industry-specific advice needed for a successful transition as well as a nationwide network of SkillBridge partners to help ease the process.

We believe the most important thing we do is our counseling service. We have a team of counselors made up of veterans who are now actively in roles in the civilian aviation industry. These counselors have a diverse military background and work across the aviation industry. They are well trained on the current industry environment, what the career path looks like for each position, and can help determine the best path forward for you. Our counselors did not get to where they are on their own and they are passionate about helping those behind them. Our expansive network has provided us keen insights and gives our candidates a huge advantage when trying to determine which path to take.
